„Einfach spenden, doppelt fördern" - The donation campaign run by alumni and friends of TU Berlin is entering its fourth cycle

Active solidarity in difficult times

The Deutschlandstipendium provides an opportunity for TU Berlin and donors, whether private individuals, businesses, foundations or associations, to recognize and reward the outstanding achievements of students. The "Einfach spenden, doppelt fördern" program is aimed particularly at alumni and friends of TU Berlin and is a joint initiative of the Alumni Team, the Society of Friends of the TU Berlin e.V. and the Career Service.

If you, too, would like to pass on some of your success to the next generation, help students achieve their academic goals especially in these challenging times and use this unique opportunity to strengthen your ties to TU Berlin, we kindly ask you to: Take part in our donation program again and help us build on the successes of the last three years!

"Einfach spenden, doppelt fördern" is entering its forth cycle. Since its start in 2017 it has been possible tu fund 122 scholarships, awarded to students from a wide range of disciplines, which is a great result of commitment shown by the alumni and friends of TU Berlin.

How it works:

Whether you donate EUR 100, 200 or fund an entire scholarship: Your donation is added to an alumni and friends fund. For every 1,800 euros donated, a student receives a Deutschlandstipendium worth 300 euros per month for two semesters. The beauty of the program is that your donation is matched with an equal donation by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, meaning that half the scholarship is funded by the federal government.

If you are interested in funding a full scholarship it is also possible to take on a mentorship for a scholarship holder. For further details please contact us via e-mail to dstip[at]career.tu-berlin.de.

What our scholarship holders say about the program

Vivian Waldheim

Scholarship holder since 2019/2020, student in the Biomedical Engineering master's program

"The Deutschlandstipendium allows me to concentrate fully on my studies without having to sacrifice my work in volunteer projects at TU Berlin. My contributions include my work for an association of socially-committed engineers which supports persons with physical disabilities. The funding I receive from the Deutschlandstipendium sponsoring program provides me with financial independence and the chance to make a real contribution. I wish to express my thanks for this!“
