Deutschlandstipendium - Talent meets funding

Since the start of the scholarship program, 1,190 students of TU Berlin were honored with a Deutschlandstipendium, 131 of them in the current 11th funding period 2021/2022. The Deutschlandstipendium scholarships are awared to high-performing and dedicated students in various disciplines.

Scholarship holders receive EUR 300 a month for at least one year - a scholarship is equally funded by private sponsors (companies, foundations, associations and private individuals) and the federal government. Funding is independent of personal or parental income and does not affect the BAföG allowance.

The application period for the upcoming 2022/2023 funding year has closed. Applications could be submitted from 15 June 2022 to 11 July 2022. The timeline for the application and award process can be found under "Dates and Deadlines" and will be updated on an ongoing basis. The next application round is expected to take place in the summer semester of 2023. More information on requirements and procedures can be found on the "Application" page.

The scholarship holders give an insight into the Deutschlandstipendium and their experiences with the scholarship in a series of interviews initiated and implemented by the working team Public relations (AG Öffentlichkeit, in German only).

Former and current scholarship holders are committed to the Deutschlandstipendium as Mission DStip - with events for scholarship holders and as donors for a scholarship.
