Internships in the EU - ERASMUS+ grants

Why should I go abroad for an internship?

As an intern abroad, students

  • gain experiences in an international enterprise
  • increase their knowledge in their field of study
  • get insight in certain areas of their future job
  • improve language as well as intercultural skills
  • enhance key competences for their future career
  • get ready for a global market

Which kind of internships are eligible?

Both compulsory AND voluntary internships may be eligible for funding support via the ERASMUS+ scheme, as long as they last at least 60 days and 6 months at longest (and take place in another European country).

Internships in the following organisations are excluded from the ERASMUS+ scheme:

  • European institutions and organisations (see complete list)
  • Institutions administering collaborative EU programmes (EU programmes)

Who is eligible for this grant?

Applicants must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student at one of the following universities:

  • Technische Universität Berlin
  • Universität der Künste Berlin
  • kunsthochschule weißensee
  • SRH Hochschule Berlin

 

 

Which countries take part in the ERASMUS+ scheme?

Internships are eligible for funding in the following countries:

NB: Your internship in Germany is not eligible for funding via the ERASMUS+ scheme, since there is no cross-border mobility involved!
